What is GST Refund

GST refund is a process in which, registered taxpayers can claim excess amount if they paid more than the GST liability. They can claim after submitting a refund application with the necessary details in the GST portal.

No refund of unutilised input tax credit shall be allowed in cases where the goods exported out of India are subjected to export duty

No refund of input tax credit shall be allowed, if the supplier of goods or services or both avails of drawback in respect of central tax or claims refund of the integrated tax paid on such supplies.

Defaulted in furnishing any return;

  • PAN of the Applicant/Directors and Company/Firm
  • Aadhaar card of the Applicant/Directors
  • Photograph of the Applicant/Directors Address proof of the place of business (Electricity Bill/Property Tax) Rent
  • Agreement/NOC of Place of Business
  • Certificate of Incorporation (only in case of Company)
  • Authorization letter (only in case of Company/firm)
